How do I secure a date at Kylan Barn?

In order to secure your wedding or event date on Kylan Barn’s calendar, we require a signed contract and fifty percent retainer on the venue rental fee.

What is the barn capacity?

We can be flexible with certain scenarios but we can only seat 240 guests inside the barn.

What tables and chairs are available?

We include four custom white farm tables (seats up to ten), up to twenty five 72” rounds (seats up to twelve), four 6’ banquet tables and two 8’ banquet tables. We have five 30” cocktail tables. The chairs included inside the barn are walnut chiavari chairs.

How do I get linens for the tables?

You can rent linens from us! The majority of the linens needed are $19/linen. You can also rent napkins, runners, glassware and more. Check out our rental collection.

Are decorations provided?

No, not in the venue rental fee. We offer decorations and floral services. You can also hire in or provide your own.

Are ceremony sites included?

The woods ceremony and landbridge ceremony site is not included in the venue rental fee. The outdoor patio ceremony site is included in the the venue rental fee. We include white folding chairs for the landbridge and patio ceremony sites and the woods has custom wooden benches.

What is the back-up plan for inclement weather?

The wedding ceremony or event under 240 guests would get moved inside the barn. You could also utilize the overhangs. Either way, we will make sure the rain plan has been discussed and everyone is good-to-go.

Is the barn air conditioned?

We do have air conditioning. Kylan Barn is an open-air venue so keeping it air conditioned is not easy. We have it to keep guests as comfortable as possible. The bridal suite, airstream and bathrooms are all fully air-conditioned.

Do we need event insurance?

Yes, we require our clients to purchase event insurance only if having alcohol on-site or including a pet in a ceremony. However, we do recommend all couples have it. For details, contact Gary Marshall Agency.

Can we supply the alcohol?

You supply all alcohol for your wedding. You can supply as much or as little as you’d like. It must be an open-bar. You can either provide your own bar mixers or we offer a bar mixer/beverage package to lessen the burden on our clients.

How do we hire bartenders?

We require you use Kylan Barn’s bartenders or hire bartenders through the caterer. Only a few caterers on our list offer bartending services and it must be approved from Kylan Barn management. Kylan Barn’s bartenders are $150/each. We require one bartender for every one hundred guests. Clients pay the bartenders directly on the day of the wedding.

Can we hire any vendors?

Clients must choose a caterer from our catering list. Aside from that, clients may hire whichever vendors they’d like. We do have a list of vendors that we highly recommend. We also offer several other wedding day services in-house.

Do we receive a rehearsal?

We offer a complimentary one-hour rehearsal block the Thursday prior to your wedding date. This one-hour block will be on a first come, first serve basis. We offer 3pm, 4pm and 5pm on the Thursdays prior to the wedding.

Is there a security deposit? How much?

We require a $500 refundable security deposit to protect all parties involved. Security deposits are refunded as long as all the rules are followed which are provided prior to the wedding.
